Where the Stories of Old Baguio Are Still Told.
Tucked in the pine-covered hills once walked by American educators, planners, and artists, Brent Guest House stands as a quiet monument to the city’s colonial past. More than a stay — it’s an immersion.
Each room is curated to honor the figures who helped shape early Baguio — from the city-building visions of Daniel Burnham to the educational legacy of Bishop Brent. Their stories echo through our spaces, in the archways, the wooden floors, the framed maps, and the warm hospitality we offer.
A City Born of Vision
In the early 1900s, American colonial leaders envisioned Baguio as a summer capital — a retreat, a center of governance, and a place of healing. With them came architects, missionaries, and planners who brought their ideals to this mountaintop.
Brent Guest House is built upon that spirit — not to glorify the past, but to hold it up to the light, gently and thoughtfully.
